Purchases of cocoa 2009 Light Crop season to close on Thursday

Accra, Sept. 23, GNA - The Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) announced on Wednesday that purchases of the 2009 Light Crop cocoa season would cease at the close of business on Thursday, September 24.

It said in a statement issued by the Public Affairs Department that in order to assist the Licensed Buying Companies (LBCs) to obtain the final returns from up-country stations, the Board had decided that returns on the declared purchases would be accepted up to 1600 hours on Thursday October 1. 23 Sept. 09
