Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has directed the rank and file of the
NDC to target floating voters during the party's campaign and not
concentrate two much on members and supporters.

This is because they play a vital role in the outcomes of the country's elections.

Vice President Amissah-Arthur said this when he addressed a mini rally at New Abirem in the Eastern Region.

He introduced the NDC's Parliamentary candidate for the area, Mavis Ama Frimpong Gati, who is also the Eastern Regional Minister.

Hundreds of NDC supporters defied the incessant rainfall and came out to
listen to their leaders.

Mr. Amissah-Arthur charged the supporters to come out massively on December 7 and vote for President Mahama and Mavis Ama Frimpong-Gati.

A National Vice Chairman and Director of Elections of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo told the supporters that under the next Mahama administration, government will not out programmes to boost Kola cultivation and production.

Also, government will set up farmers services centres across the country to support farmers with inputs and soft loans.

These he said have been captured in the 2016 NDC's manifesto. Mrs. Frimpong-Gati said the Eastern region has so far received its portion of development under President Mahama.

She said when the Chiefs and People New Abirem vote for her to become their MP, she will together with President Mahama provide them with more development.

The immediate past National organises of the NDC, Yaw Boateng Gyan asked the people to disregard any notion that in the NDC when you lose an internal party
contest you are discarded.

He said his presence at the campaign launch should tell them that the NDC is more united than ever before.

Mr Boateng-Gyan asked the supporters to carry the NDC's good news to the
villages and hamlets to reach the unreached.
