Veteran Ghanaian gospel musician, Hannah Marfo has advised budding musicians in the country to be patient.

The ‘Yesu Kokroko’ singer believes God has time for everybody and He will fulfil His promise at the right time.

“When God says He will lift you up, He will surely do it. At the right time His promises will be manifested,” she said in an interview with Mr Lattus which was monitored by www.newshuntermag.com on Akonoba FM’s Entertainment Court program in Sunyani.

She charged them to pray hard and worship Him well.

“Getting a producer or making it into the limelight is not easy but with God all things are possible,” said Hannah Marfo.

She admitted that things have changed now because people do not buy CDs.

“At first, musicians were making money from the purchase of their CDs…things have changed, people do not buy CDs anymore,” she lamented.

When asked whether it is wrong for gospel musicians to charge before performing at events or not, she replied ‘No’.

“It is not wrong for gospel musicians to charge before performing at events. They have to survive,” the veteran gospel musician posited.

Currently, Hannah Marfo has released a 15-track album titled ‘Awurade Bo Me Ho Ban’.
