The list of teams that will be in Cameroon for the African Cup of Nations, AFCON 2020, is set after Tuesday's last round of matches were dispatched across the continent.

The 24-team tournament originally slated for last year was impacted by the coronavirus pandemic forcing a cancellation and subsequent postponement to 2022.

West Africa showed wide participation dominance producing as many as half of the teams.

The tournament will be the first under new president of the Confederation of African Football, Patrice Motsepe.
