uniBank bids Stars farewell with flags

At the Black Stars farewell match at the Accra Sports Stadium last week, uniBank, the Stars’ official bank, bid the team farewell by presenting two flags filled with goodwill messages.

The flags - the national and uniBank’s corporate flag, were presented to the team in a symbolic gesture of the bank’s and nation’s total support for the team.

While the national flag was put at the Accra Stadium where fans wrote their goodwill messages on it, the uniBank flag went around the country for staff to write down their goodwill messages to the team.

And presenting the flags to the team, Owusu-Ansah Awere, told the team: “We have always professed our unflinching support to you in the World Cup campaign and this is only to re-emphasise our support.

“The flag symbolises the spirit of the nation and so this is to let you know that the bank and the entire nation is solidly behind you both physicaly and spiritual as you strive to make the nation and the continent proud at the World Cup,” Mr Awere said.
