I doubt this is what he tells his players in the dressing room -now they are in the drop zone and Alan Shearer saying "he (TS) has two matches to save his job.

C'mon Mr. Sherwood if you call that impressive then it justifies why you have only won a single game this season. The guy is completely useless. He is seriously bringing his father Abedi's stock down. Lacks pace, uninspiring, ...

  • the truth 8 years ago

maybe you didn't watch the game. the amount of chances jordan created could have won villa the game. football is 11 x11 so you can't expect Jordan to win the game alone

  • lee 8 years ago

Did you say he "COULD HAVE" won the game for Villa? Well, sorry to disappoint you.. He didn't... Yes, football is 11 vs 11, and a striker's primary job is to put the ball in the post... He has played a few games, yet NO GOALS ...

why people blame jordan?what about Harry Kane this season?

  • Mr. Kwaku Adjei 8 years ago

Football is about scoring goals and not creating chances.

If its just about creating chances Villa would have gotten other players to do so at $1m a piece and not the $10m paid for Jordan!

Just be patient with Jordan for another 20 to 30 more years and he start to be of the best strikers for Villa and the Black Stars.By 30 years of play he will be playing better than Ayew and Abedi.
If that is the best investm ...

Jordan is truly more of an attacking midfield type who can create opportunities. He just is not someone who is going to regularly score goals. He is not a bad player but I think we are forcing the striker label on him. Mor ...

This coach has a big mouth. Has not won anything and talks like he is Jose Mourinho. Seriously, did he scout Jordan before the purchase? He bought the wrong Ayew. Should have gone for Abedi

  • ester 8 years ago

Maybe he got confused between the two

  • kofi K 8 years ago

He needs to talk to Swansea and let them know that the Ayew they've got was the one he was after and its just a small mistake which can easilybe ccorrected.
