Appiah's contract was simply evil and not good for the country football. Why should we rush to give Appiah a contract before the World Cup tournament?. Appiah performance in South Africa was questionable and I know that if GFA is Nyantakyi's Company, he would not offer the contract at this time. England FA did the same to Capillo and what happened? . So in Ghana we don't learn from lessons, we always live with lessons and blame the gods for everything. I am 100% sure Appaih will not take Ghana far hence the reason to offer him a contract before the judgement day. This is crazy!!!

If you are smart man Raymond Yeboah and man who live and knows history you would not have written this article. We learn history not to repeat the same mistake someone has done. 2006 Ratomir Dujkovic was out of contract right after the world cup so was Milovan Rajevac we rash to sign them up and they jump ship. GFA is smart now we are pining Akwesi Appiah down now for one does not know what may happen at the 2014 world cup unless self hatred like Raymond Yeboah knows it every contract has a performance clause in it we used that to get rid of that lazy disrespectful Serbian by the name Goran Stevanovic right after 2011 African Cup of nations.

Just think allow if Appiah takes Ghana to the Final or Semi final do you think people care about which country he comes from. Most people want results. I think it the best mve GFA had learnt their lesson from the two past world cups.

This is a hack job by the GFA. Even if another country wants him after the world cup, they can get him to resign, pay damages and sign him on.
The GFA is rushing to sign a contract cos they know that people will call for his head after the WC if Ghana fails to surpass the Quarter finals..
Stevanovic got to CAN2012 semis whereas Appiah got to CAN 2013 Semis. In effect, Appiah is not any better than Stevanovich

That should have been the right way to go! What of if the worse happen to the BS, and we are looking for a new manager. What will you do? You pay AA off because he already have a contract and get someone new? Where is the money coming from? This was the reason why I said earlier that; GFA has something to hide. They are corrupt and incompetent.

Whoever wrote this article is an idiot. At what point do we as Ghanaians learn to incubate our abundant coaching prospects for our own good. Before, this man was ever appointed, most Ghanaians doubted his coaching acumen to help us qualify for the world cup and just saw him as an assistant coach purely because he is a Ghanaian. What does this say about us, as a people and our Motherland- that we give everybody a chance but ourselves.
The fact you can articulate a thought does not mean that you should put it in writing. That is called thought process. Here's why I see this article as rubbish:
1) He passes the performance metric, therefore before or after is irrelevant.
2) Unlike our past unproven everything-white-is-good, coaches from no where, who did not add to black stars but benefited from backstairs pedigree, he's a black star, proven and understands black stars team chemistry.
3)He has a plan and is a working progress. "Rome was not built in a day." And,
4)This is the first time in memory that black stars chemistry jives ok.
We (black people) look down sometimes on our own in the name of performance when the underlying pretense is our own incompetence and pessimism. We can't so therefore he shouldn't be able to is not a forward thinking approach. We've been lying to ourselves as to how good our team is due to individual brilliance and not as a team. Now, we see glimpses of what a unit and a team looks and this world cup is not a metric for me as to the future.
No gave this guy a chance, now he has proven everybody wrong by qualifying and should be given his due based on this and what he has install for the future.

That is my view. If you have nothing to contribute, shut your beak. You're part of the corrupt people we have in Ghana.

The FA has to wait till after the WC and then we can assess his overall performance. This is not the first time Ghana has made it to the World cup and him qualifying Ghana to the world cup when were are already top seed thanks to our previous world cup appearances. The article makes financial sense
