In my opinion, Kwasi Appiah qualifying us for the World Cup is not such a big deal. We were excited when we qualified for the 2006 and 2010 World cups because it had not been done before. Now that we are used to playing in the world cup, merely qualifying should not make us praise Kwasi Appiah to the high heavens notwithstanding the fact that he is the first local coach to do so. What most people don't know is that, in the past the qualifying format made it very didifult for most African teams to qualify. It was strictly on knock out basis and Africa had only two slots. For example, when we played the second leg against Algeria in 1992, we were clearly cheated, apart from the fact that the field was watered at half time, with our players boots only suitable for dry pitch. So my advice is that though we are happy with Kwasi's achievement, let's wait till the actual world cup. Those calling for a renewal of his contract, in my opinion are too much in a haste. If the GFA wanted to take hasty decisions Kwasi would have been fired after the CAN in South Africa, where Ghana played her worst football in a competition, though we reached the semis. Well done Kwasi, but prove yourself in Brazil 2014 and doubting Thomases like me will be put to shame.

Instead of huge expenditure for expatriate to qualify us to Brazil, we have used less amount to achieved maximum result. What will happen in Brazil can never be projected by any one, only Almighty God knows. So we can't held coach MRAA on that account now.

It not a big deal where were you in 2006 when we did make it out the group stages during CAN 06 at Egypt under Ratomir Dujkovi did you call for his firing. Be very appreciative of one of your own.

To some of us Ghana's time to win the WC was the WC at South Africa. Some us wrote several times but GFA ignored them. Before the Milo man was appointed some of us saw that Ghana would win the WC in South Africa if only they would be coached by a native. As a result we hammered on this but the issue was ignored and the trophy left us in a very bad way. Many would not believe this but it was very real.
A native has taken over and we have all seen what has happened so far. Who knows what will happen in Brazil. I cannot say anything now but I knew that of South Africa before then.
Let the native man continue with his work and do not corrupt the progress made so far with any Obroni for no WC has ever been won with foreign technical men. Africa teams may surprise the world this time in Brazil.

EVEN IF U GAVE AA 3 YRS OVERSEAS TRAINING UNDER FOREIGN COACHES, HE WILL COME BACK AND BOMB. THE GUIY SIMPLY CAN NOT TGINK CRITICALLY. I DONT NEED 10YRS TO RECOGNIZE SUNSHINE. INSTEAD OF BRINGING IN A FOREIGN COACH WITH REPUTABLE, TROPHY WINNING EXPERIENCE. THESE CASSAVA GFA PPL WANT TO WASTE MONEY ON AA AND KONADU. BY SENDING THEM OVERSEAS FOR FURTHER LEARNING? ARE U MAD? USE THE MONIES ON A FOREIGN COACH LIKE RIJKAARD. IVE DONE MY RESEARCH ON MANY COACHES AND HE IS THE BEST AVAILABLE COACH WITHOUT A JOB AT THE MOMENT. U PPL WHO THINK AA WITH HIS ADWEN NGI BRAIN CAN GO TO WCUP, U ARE CRAZY. AA WAS RIGHT THERE WHEN PLAVI USED OPARE ON TH LEFTBACK N CLAIMED RED CARDS. YET,U USE OPARE AGAIN VS EGYPT? AA IS MAD...INSTEAD OF CRITICALLY THINKING AND MAKING THE RIGHT SUBS OR SELECTIONS. HE RELIES ON SOME SORT OF DIVINE INTERVENTION....MUAHAHAHAAAAAA. U ARE NOT SERIOUS!

Kwesi I think our boys need to wear real jerseys from the barracks to remind them everyday of the June 2014 world war for cup in soccer. My thought may sound silly to some, but Kwesi don;t follow be creative you CAN. Your qualification will be meaningless unless you show the world after all a Ghanaian COACH is capable to conquer the world. God anoint and bless you.
