Ghana should not underate Zambia -Manso

The Ghana Under-17 national soccer team arrived in Zambia and coach, Frimpong Manso declared his boys ready for Sunday’s Rwanda 2011 Africa Youth Championships clash against the junior Chipolopolo boys.

Manso, a former Black Stars national soccer team player, however, said that underrating the Zambian side would be a mistake after their rebounding into championships at the disqualification of Uganda for use of overage players.

“This is a new team and none of them has played in an international competition before but we can’t underrate Zambia, they are a good side. But of course everyone is expectant and we will try to do well and play well,” said Manso.
