The Eastern Regional Women Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Hajia Fati Vondoli has refuted the claims that there is a rivalry between the women’s wing and the Loyal Ladies.

According to her, the members of the loyal ladies are ‘children’ of the various women organizers and they will continue to work hand in hand together as the party prepares towards 2020.

Fati Vondoli revealed this when she was speaking at a workshop organized by the Loyal Ladies Eastern Chapter for its members on the theme; ‘Organizing for next level victory 2020’ at Koforidua on 23rd March 2019.

She advised the Loyal Ladies to work together with the women organizers of every constituency knowing the women organizers as their leaders to avoid a rift between them.

She further assured of supporting them whenever the need arises as she believes they have been the backbone to the party’s victory in the 2016 general elections.

“We need to be united prior to the 2020 elections. In our bid to maintain the seat in 2020, we need not quarrel within ourselves. I will entreat you not to listen to the bad comments from the NDC, divided we fall, together we stand” she said.

She avered that the weaknesses of the NDC is now known and for that matter, they are working tirelessly in their quest to win the 2020 polls.

Abigail Agyare Owusua, the Regional Commander of the Loyal Ladies putting the icing on the cake lamented on the need to organize such workshop for its members and that, reorganizing themselves for the upcoming elections in 2020.

“Our passion and commitment to victory 2020 require that we attach new strategies that will bring us new results as compared to 2016 effort,” she said.

On her part, she debunked assertion that the loyal ladies ‘have been used and dumped’ and hence ‘their fire is quenched.’

She stated that the ‘girl power fire’ in the group is still blazing and they are ready to do more than they did in 2016 as the party prepares towards the 2020 general election.

Ms. Ouwusa indicated that the effort of the loyal ladies in the 2016 polls cannot be underestimated and for that matter, their effort in the upcoming elections is to plan as they seek to even do more in the 2020 campaign.

She has therefore pleaded with the executives of the NPP to provide support since any time they approach them for help since their work is on a voluntary basis.

The Deputy National Youth Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Ms. Perpetual Lomokie Akwada, noted that the changing of the economy in two years and the many achievements of the party signals the biblical allusion that ‘Jesus Christ is still in the miracle business.”

Ms. Akwada applauded the government for having the youth at heart, adding that so far no government in the history of the country has performed such miracles specifically targeted at the youth like the NPP government.

She expressed the youth wing’s happiness and gratitude to the government for its youth-oriented policies.
