Medeama Sporting Club goalkeeper, Eric Ofori Antwi has revealed, that he is ready to manage the post for the Local Black Stars team whenever invited and assures of maintaining the post.

The former Kotoko SC safe-pair-of-hands managed the post when the Local Black Stars team faced Namibia in a friendly last week losing 4-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw.

Eric, MTN FA Cup winner in an interview with FootballGhana.com said he feels honoured to berth the post for his nation since getting a call-up to the team isn't easy.

"Always am ready to help my country when invited to camp"I feel happy being chosen to manage the goal post, is not easy to get that opportunity".

"It's a chance I have being waiting as a Ghanaian and should I have it each time, will do my best".

He added that, though its difficult to maintain the number one spot for the Local team since there are exactly good gloves men around. However, with hard work, he will maintain the spot.

"It needs extra hard work to maintain the post because all the goalkeepers there are very good and competitors as well".
