Kotoko to play Cameroon in Confederation Cup

Kumasi Asante Kotoko are expected to open their preliminary stage Confederation Cup campaign against Cameroon club on November 27/28.

The Ghanaian side who have been paired with the Cameroonian club would play their first game away before returning to play the second leg on December 4/5 at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Winners of that game are expected to play winners of the game between Kariobangi Sharks FC of Kenya and Arta Solar7 of Djibouti for the 1/16th stage.

Sudanese club, Al Hilal Obeid, Al Masry of Egypt, Ahly Tripoli of Libya, Tunisia side, Club Sportif Sfaxien, Etoile Sportive du Sahel of Tunisia, Kampala City of Uganda, Maroc, Raja of Morocco RD Cong and Zamalek of Egypt are the clubs that have been exempted from the preliminary stage.
