Kotoko fans will be proud of us - Zachariassen

Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Kjetil Zachariassen, is optimistic about the quality of players in his team going to Africa.

According to him, the Porcupine Warriors are showing great signs for the future while others are gradually warming themselves in the Red army family.

Speaking to sports journalists after the team’s evening training section at the Accra Academy School Park, Zachariassen said: “Some of the players have the culture of Kotoko inside them and others are yet to be engulfed with the club’s culture.”

“But we are now starting to get a strong unit and I think the supporters will be proud of the team moving forward,” Zachariassen added.

The Ghana Premier League powerhouse is pitching camp in Accra before they depart for Nigeria on Thursday to play Kano Pillars.
