Hockey: Police play Golden Sticks

The Police male hockey team are hoping to close in on leaders Trustees, with a win over Golden Sticks on Saturday.

On the same day, Trustees face Reformers in another crucial encounter. But Police still need to work extra hard in their bid to overtake Trustees on the league log.

The Dwadifo Adanfo Greater Accra Hockey League has been exciting lately and this week’s fixtures are set to add to the tension.

If Reformers are unable to stop Trustees, it will be very difficult for them to occupy the top spot. The two fixtures remain the main attraction for the weekend just as the Ghana Revenue Authority clash against Exchequers tomorrow.

Badly bruised NDK Financiers have an opportunity to redeem their image against Citizens International, while Multistix are tipped to rout Veterans.

Other matches for Saturday are Real Ambassadors against Tema Youth, Ark Boys versus Legonites and Veterans Ladies lock horns with Ark Ladies.

Ladies league leaders, GRA, play Extinguishers of the Ghana Fire Service tomorrow, while Police Ladies face off with Reformers on the same day.
