The super clash between giants Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko is hanging on a thread after the Normalisation Committee decided against revising the gate proceeds for the semi-final match on Sunday, Kumasi-based Fox FM has reported.

A member of the interim body, Sammy Kuffuor is being accused of masterminding the latest standoff which threatens the biggest match of the competition.

The interim body want the Porcupine Warriors to withdrawal their letter seeking to terminate their involvement in the competition.

Kotoko withdrew from the Tier 1 competition over format and disbursement standoff but rescinded their decision to boycott after reaching an agreement with Ghana Premier League boss Kudjoe Fianoo.

However, it has now emerged that the Normalisation Committee want the Kumasi-based side to withdraw their boycott letter before the game will be sanctioned.

It appears the interim body of the FA want the proper thing to be done an won't budge until the Ghanaian giants follow due process.

The latest twist has already sparked another bout of debate and confusion, just five days before the crunch tie at the Accra sports stadium.
