Ghanaian striker Okyere Kwasi Wriedt has emerged on the radar of English club Birmingham City, according to reports.

Wriedt, 24, has one Ghana call-up and has been scoring for fun for the reserves side of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

It remains to be seen whether Bayern manager Niko Kova? has him in his plans but the 540,000 Euros rated striker is set to exit the Allianz Arena.

A host of lower-tier clubs from England, France and Italy are flocking after the former Osnabruck target-man while a couple of Vikings clubs are also interested in securing his signature.

Wriedt has committed his international future to Ghana but securing a regular place in the squad of the West Africans means he must secure regular game time at the top level to achieve this.

He arrived at Bayern with hopes of gatecrashing the first team squad but hasn’t been able to make the first team squad again since Jupp Heynckes.

The Blues have not secured Premier League football and manager Gary Monk is believe to have assess the qualities of the striker and would request for the player to be signed for their Championship campaign next season.
