King Faisal FC striker Osman Ibrahim says their suspended match week 15 fixture against Hearts of Oak would have been the turning point for his outfit.

King Faisal were placed 18th on the Premier League log with 6 points before the season was truncated due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The team also held the unenviable record of being the only team with no league win after match week 14.

However, Osman in an interview with Kumasi based Angel FM claims that they would have made amends against Hearts of Oak who had scored four past Accra Greats Olympics before that game.

“We Knew our game against Hearts of Oak was going to be our turning point, we knew that game was going to be the beginning of a good thing but unfortunately the game was called of.”

He assured the fans that they will avoid relegation when the league bounces back after the Coronavirus pandemic.

“We know our position on the league log is nothing good but I'm assuring all King Faisal fans that our position in the league will change and we are going to stay in the league should it recommence.”

“We the players have engaged in a series of meetings and we are determined to stay in the League.” He added.
