Ghana08 Tickets out in Italy

Tickets allocation for the Africa Cup of Nations 2008 soccer tournament in Ghana is now out at the Ghana Embassy in Rome. A statement from the Embassy said the price of tickets range from €4 to €15.
The Africa Cup of Nations, the most prestigious soccer tournament on the African continent, will start on January 20 and end on February 10, 2008 and is expected to draw many football fans, coaches and club officials across the world to 4 cities in Ghana - Accra, Sekondi, Kumasi, and Tamale - where 16 countries including host nation Ghana would be competing for the Africa Cup. Accra will host Group A : Ghana, Guinea, Namibia and Morocco, Sekondi will host Group B : Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Mali and Benin, Kumasi will host Group C : Egypt, Cameroon, Sudan and Zambia whilst Tamale will host Group D: Tunisia, Senegal, South Africa and Angola.
It’s the 26th edition of the tournament and some of Africa’s great talents in football, among them Samuel Eto (Cameroun), Didier Drogba (Ivory Coast), Frédéric Kanouté (Mali) and Micheal Essien (Ghana) will feature for their country.
The statement from the Embassy further said due to limited time left for the commencement of the competition it would not be possible to send tickets to all Ghanaian Associations in Italy for sale and interested persons should come to the Embassy or call the reception desk on 06.8621.7191 for the necessary arrangements to be made and the ticket posted.
All 32 matches would be telecast LIVE on Eurosport for a total of 60 hours.
