Asante Kotoko are reported to have been ordered to pay former coach Kjetil Zachariassen a compensation after they were found guilty of contract breaches by the Players & Coaches Statues Committee of the Ghana Football Association.

Zachariassen was shown the exit in November 2019, four months after being recruited from AshantiGold SC.

The former AshantiGold trainer was tasked to reach the Group stage of the CAF Champions League, but he could not and when the team dropped into the Confederation Cup they got eliminated by Ivorian side San Pedro.

The Norwegian gaffer sought for compensation for his unfair dismissal by dragging the Porcupine Warriors to the Ghana FA Statues Committee.

Reports in the local media on Friday suggest that, the Players & Coaches Statues Committee have declared Asante Kotoko losers, ordering the club to pay the Norwegian $12,425 and GH¢660 within the next 14 days.
