Minister for Youth and Sports Isaac Kwame Asiamah is calling on the nation to rally behind the Black Stars 'B' as they take to the field this Sunday.

The Black Stars 'B' will welcome Burkina to the Baba Yara Sports in the first leg of the CHAN 2020 qualifier on Sunday, September 22 with the reverse fixture scheduled to be honour on October 20 in Ouagadougou.

Ghana has missed out in the last two editions of the tournament and must play above themselves if they want to feature in next year's showpiece.

Ahead of Sunday's game, the Sports Minister is appealing to Ghana to come to the Stadium to create an intimidating atmosphere for the opponent.
Once again, I am appealing and calling on the good people of our beloved country to be at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday 22nd September 2019 to support our home-based Black Stars as they play their Burkinabe counterparts in the first leg qualifier of African Nations Championships (CHAN).

I am encouraging you our ambassadors to go all out and ' demolish ' your opponents and make the 2nd leg a mere formality.
I wish you well and assure you of the nation's support
God be with you.

Black Stars, we shall win for you.
God bless our homeland, Ghana

Next year's CHAN 2020 will be the 6th edition of the African Nations Championship, which is organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) exclusively featuring players from the respective national championships.

It will be hosted between January and February 2020 in Cameroon.
