Bad nature of Hearts of Oak's training ground discouraged me from joining them - Prince Anokye

Former Asante Kotoko defender Prince Anokye has attributed his inability to play for Accra Hearts of Oak SC to the bad nature of their training pitch.

According to Anokye, Hearts of Oak's training ground during his time was below his standard and that is why he decided to sign for their rivals Asante Kotoko.

He made this revelations in an interview with Don Summer of Angel FM in Kumasi.

“I remember a staunch Hearts of Oak fan (Kanawu) sent me to the club to train with them. At that time he wanted me to join the rainbow boys but the truth is that the bad nature of their training ground discouraged me”

“In fact when he sent me there I didn’t play. The moment I saw their training ground I decided not to play for the club because I wasn’t happy at all” he said.
