Baby Jet Promotions reviving Ghana boxing - Asamoah Gyan

Chief Executive Officer of Baby Jet Promotions and Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan says he is impressed that his outfit is steadily reviving boxing in Ghana.

Gyan was not present at Saturday's bout involving his boxer Emmanuel Tagoe who defeated Argentine boxer Fernando Saucedo to retain his IBO lightweight title.

"I was very happy about proceeding and now under Baby Jet Promotions we have revived Ghana boxing, now when a bout is been staged in Ghana you see personalities that you don't expect at the venue,"

"Before Baby Jet Promotions came we all knew Ghana boxing was going down the drain, even when there is a bout people knew nothing about it but since we came, it has increased people's interest in the sport again," He told Kumasi based Angel FM.

Gyan expressed gratitude to all Ghanaians, and encourage sports lovers to pay attention to the least finance sports to ensure that it gains grounds.

The Black Stars striker also disclosed that his outfit has not yet signed any other boxer and that they are focused on making Emmanuel "Game boy" Tagoe a World Champion.
