The Supporters of AshGold led by their executives yesterday released a letter registering their displeasure against the head coach of AshGold Hans Van Der Pluym after AshGold had woefully lost 1-2 to Kumasi King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The letter that was signed by the Secretary and the Vice Chairman of the Supporters Association Mr. Victor Frimpong and Alhaji Ali Ibrahim was copied to the Board of Directors, the CEO, the Management team and the media houses.
The letter indicated that the coach should vacate his position with effect from 2nd October 2005 else a massive demonstration would be held against the Board of Directors and the Management team. The supporters also threatened to boycott all the other matches if the authorities failed to terminate the contract of the head coach.
The supporters indicated that the performance of the coach in the ongoing GT Premiership has been unimpressive. Meanwhile an emergency meeting by the management team has been arranged later today to look into the matters relating to the welfare of the club.
