Arsenal favorite to land Ghanaian-born Ethan Ampadu

Arsenal are in pole position to land Ghanaian-born youngster Ethan Ampadu, according to reports in England.

The Gunners are expected to sign the 16-year-old from lower division side Exter City.

Ampadu, who was on the radar of Liverpool and Chelsea, is said to have been influenced by his father Kwame Ampadu who is currently working as a Coach at the Arsenal Academy.

The young midfielder has been hogging the headlines in England due to his exploits with the League two side.

Arsenal looked poised to gazumped their fellow Premiership side (Chelsea and Liverpool) for the talented player.

Liverpool had previously handed trial to the player before Chelsea reportedly submitted a £2million bid.

He was recently voted the best young player in Wales.
