Aboma Stars of Teshie beat Otoase Stars

Coaltar, May 5, GNA - Visiting Aboma Stars of Teshie, near Accra, a second division football club beat local Otoase Stars 3-2 in a friendly football match at Otoase near Coaltar in the Suhum-Kraboa Coaltar District to mark the May Day activities.

Centre forward Joe Lewis of Otoase Stars opened the scores in the 15th minute through a header but Aboma's outside left, Seth Agya Adu equalised for his side in the 44th minute with a powerful shot. Aboma Stars raced into the lead in the 66th minute through their centre forward Apetor Charles with a well-taken free kick.

Otoase Stars sensing defeat marshalled all their energy and rightly fetched the equaliser in the 88th minute when outside right Abdul Seidu equalled the scores to 2-2 through a corner kick.

Aboma's top striker, Tuley Mama spelled the doom of the host team with the third goal for his side when he beautifully converted a spot kick in the dying minute of the game. 5 May 04
