Former Sports Minister in the erstwhile Mahama administration, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, has charged the youth to change their mindset if they want to succeed and impact society positively.

Citing achievements of countries like Malaysia and Singapore, the former minister attributed their accomplishment to strong mindset and perseverance.

“When you have majority of the people operating with leadership mindset, the accomplishment of the experiences and the input of all these people determine the output and the level that country can go to,” he said while addressing students of UPSA as part of his drive to mentor young people about leadership.

He warns of dire consequences for future generations if the narrative is not changed.

A newly created portal for this purpose “elvisinspires” is expected to provide inspiration for young Ghanaians.
