Ashanti Regional Communications member for Kumasi Asante Kotoko,Edwin Okyere has described Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin’s exit as a “back-stab”.

Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin walked out in Kotoko with few months to the expiration of his contract.

Fabin, who masterminded a back-to-back win over Hearts of Oak in a space of two weeks, informed the hierarchy of the club through a letter on 13th September,2018.

He was expected to lead Kotoko to Len Clay against AshGold for the second leg of the Golden Clash after recording a 3-2 win in the first leg at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Edwin Okyere speaking to Radio Gold Sports believes the former Hearts of Lions trainer has left Kotoko in the lurch.

”Coach Paa Fabin had the backing of the Executive Chairman, Dr Kyei”

“Dr. Kyei was on the verge of extending his contract before its expiration”.Edwin Okyere told Gold Sports.

It’s unclear where Paa Kwesi will be heading after his exit from Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

It is likely the second of the Golden Clash against AshGold will be postponed due to the current incident at the club.
