Ebenezer Ofori nominated for New York City FC top gong

Ghana midfielder Ebenezer Ofori has been nominated for New York City FC's Player of the Month of August award.

Even though he played three games out of five in the month, the 22 year-old was outstanding with his performances which earned him a place in the nominations.

Ofori will have to beat competition from Ismail Tajouri-Shradi, Sebastien Ibeagha and David Villa through voting before he can land the monthly prize.
