I believe the Ghana Police would immediately verify the story and issue appropriate guidelines to members of the public.
As a personal contribution;the public should contact the Police immediately they detect the unexplained absence of relations and colleagues and should first report to the police when they receive demands for ransom or threats to their lives.The public should desist from initiating contact with kidnappers without first informing the Police.
We should also avoid joining floating taxis with passengers already on board.
