US Military deal: Akufo-Addo disregarded Nkrumah


What were Russian troops and intelligentsia doing in Ghana at the time of Nkrumah at the Flagstaff House and Russian Bungalows at at Tamale? Nkrumah started this by tilting Ghana to Soviet Union during the Cold War. What did this group say about Papa J's alliance with USA which was repeated by Mills and Mahama in secrecy. I don't really want military alliances with foreign countries but given the fact that Ghana's military just like coups, perhaps Akuffo Addo also feels Ghana and himself will be more secured if there are USA troops in Ghana with their superior weaponry.
