A former member of an occult group, has revealed that only one man of God, Pastor Mensa Otabil, knew beforehand the June 3, 2015 disaster would occur in Ghana. Pastor Otabil, the Founder and General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church, consequently asked his members to pray in order to avert an impending disaster.

In a report by MyNewsGH.com, the man, only known as “Fresh Boy”, added that, prior to his conversion to Christianity, he had been practicing occultism for over a decade.

Speaking on Angel Fm’s Drive time with host Angel Dimaria, on Friday, February 9, 2018, he went on to say that as that time, his cult has representatives in almost all churches in Ghana, and for that matter, they were able to collate information for their benefit.

On June 3, 2015, a loud explosion preceded fire, caused destruction of property, as well as the loss of lives at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle.

A GOIL fuel filling station near the GCB bank towers at Circle in Accra was gutted by fire amidst heavy flooding in the city. Over 96 bodies were recovered the next day, and several companies along the Graphic Road in Accra were submerged by the floods.

More than 200 people were reported to have died including infants, and several others were displaced, making it one of the biggest disasters the country has ever recorded.
