He did that with Atta Mess death, straddling NPP on the side in the months leading to high gear 2012 election campaign as it looked apolitical to go on vigorous political campaign when the cloud of state mourning had not been lifted.

The joke at the time was to thank the people for mourning with the NDC for the loss of its flag bearer. Looter Mahama kept that thank you your going for two months when a national TV and radio address would have sufficed.

In the present times, it is on record he invited party executives from across the country to his new abode, shortly he was forced to abandon his attempt to hang on to his presidential abode to thank them. So what now. Don't delude your self John Mahama is trying to jumpstart his 2020 campaign ahead of potential challengers. They would be stupid to allow him to play them again.

The tour should be seen for what it is.... Testing the Waters Tour. Would he bring the party executives, Asiedu Nketia, Kofi Portuphy, Kofi Adams, and Julius Debrah along? You better believe it Slick John Looter Mahama is campaigning for NDCs 2020 flagbearer pole position.
