Ghana must go on federal and disolve this type of rubber stamp parliament because the people are not getting the benefit of parliament. The members are serving for themselfs
clear eg is the use of the mp common fund, how could you use the money that is meant for constituency developments end up in paying supporters school fees could be seen as prudent and necessary while there are poor roads, schools, hospitals and lack of basic amenities like water

Casely Hayford's description of parliament was apt. Ghana is essentially a third world country that is doomed. In Ghana millions of people live in abject poverty. We have had parliament since 1993, yet widespread poverty persists. Corruption among politicians and government officials is rampant. And kweku Baako wants to talk about the fairness of a scathing comments directed at parliament? How can we move forward if every individual in the country sings the praises of the corrupt, incompetent, do nothing parliament?

Mr Baako- CF is right in what he said. To be honest, I watch some of the discussion and it surprises me about the quality of the debates in Parliament. They appear to be behaving like kindergarten boys. Can't you see that your contributions on newsfile keeps them quite. Parliament can't stand being challenged, the they use 'contempt' to bully outspoken Ghanaian citizens. Parliament disregard the laws of the country, in fact that they are a law to themselves. If Parliament feels CF's remarks are derogatory, they should report it to the police for them to determine whether an offense have been committed. They use 'CONTEMPT' TO INTIMIDATE AND SILENCE the good people of Ghana.

IF SYDNEY WENT BEYOND HIS CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS,JUST QUOTE WHERE IN THE CONSTITUTION WHICH HE BROKE HIS FREEDOM OF SPEECH.
DIDN'T RAWLINGS AND AKOSAH CONDEMN THE GOVERNMENTS OF NPP AND NDC IN A NUMBER OF OCCASIONS. WERE THEY CALLED TO PARLIAAMENT TO EXPLAIN THEIR EXPRESSED VIEWS TO THEM.
