Opanin, you have hit the proverbial nail on the head brilliantly: "Protecting reputations at the risk of national security is not exactly a clever thing to do." Fantastic.

One hopes that those who now govern Ghana, particularly Hon. Nitiwul - who has shown by his timidity in dealing with military high command in this particular instance that he is not suitable for that key position which perhaps should go to someone more courageous and principled - will take cognisance of the sentiments you have expressed in such precise and clear words.
