In the later 40's to the later 60's working on toilets was left for a people called the KURUS MEN. They were said to be from Liberia. Now our ladies are fighting over who is to control the toilet. What a shame!!

Govt must ensure that all public toilets are under the control of AMA or KMA TMA etc etc. Not Party must take control anymore. This is a big mistake and approach and must be rectified.

There is no political affiliation between the association leadership and NDC apart from the requirement that they must work closely with the government in power to improve conditions of the market women. The formation of the new association by these NPP women to takeover toilet facilities from the legitimate management team is illegal and must stop now.

The genesis of all the take-overs did not start with the NDC. Everybody seems to pretend that they do not know what happened in 2001 when NPP took over power from the Rawlings government. It was as if there had been a coup d'etat. The seizures of toilets, lorry parks, market places and all the nonsense started with the NPP behaving like Ghana was being cleansed of some demons. It thus beats my imagination when people try to say that it was the NDC that did it first. What happened in 2009, though unacceptable, came no near what happened in 2001. If we assume that what happened in 2009 was retaliation for the barbarism of 2001, then the equation would have been balanced. Thus, we should by now have been wise enough to stop it for recurring, or else there would be another retaliation if the tables turn. The shameless old lady in the video must be called to order. Ghana should by now have gone over these petty issues that only tend to bring our nation to ridicule. The government must wake up and dtop the lawlessness of the NPP.
