    This exercise is long overdue. Accra should be made to look like the capital city of Ghana. Well done AMA. Make this exercise on regular schedule .

    Should be a regular exercise. When they relax the hawkers will come back. If they sustain this by the time the next election comes around they would have found alternatives or other businesses and would forget this evacuation ...

    If the supply side method has not worked in the past, why doesn't the AMA try the demand sode approach? Just arrest and prosecute people who buy from these wayside traders; the illegal business will stop.

    I support the demolishing 100 percent. Ghanaians are too dirty. The whole of Accra is becoming a ghetto by hawkers.

    The attraction of these young guys to Accra is because they want to see the sea and enjoy beach life. Send them back to Kumasi and other forest hide-outs. Accra is not for Akans only.
