Whilst I know and support the idea of imposing these duties, because at least, it is one source of raising revenue, the questions that we need to pose ourselves are"

1. Is it a curse to work hard in a foreign country, save the hard earned money and send a car to Ghana?

2.Why should the government charge high import duties on these cars to the owners of these cars and when the owners are not able to pay these high import duties, these very cars are auctioned at a cheaper and lower prices to friends and cronies but not even considering to give priorities to these bona-fide owners?

Places like DVLA, PASSPORT OFFICE, THE PORTS (airports, seaports), THE MINISTRIES, etc, are filled with corrupt officials who need to be taken out of the system. Btw, there are tiny spying & recording devices that can be used to gather incriminating information that can be used to fish out these criminals.

The transaction occured in 2015, we are in 2017 and no NDC person sees anything wrong. Please God save our motherland. Hon Kenedy Agyepong should be given 10% of this sum.
