  Apologies are not enough and peaceful resolution is not in our national interest. If a so called Honourable person acts dishonorably he must be sanctioned to the fullest extent. No wishy washy deal on this. If he has to be deselected or sacked then so must it be, how would we ordinary people ever accept the word of any MP if one tell a proven consistent lie and is forgiven with an apology. It does not cut it. The trustworthiness of the political class is at stake in this issue and either the Speaker acts to clear this cancer or the nation is left thinking bribery and corruption is an acceptable norm in their ranks and hence people get away with it if they lie about it or offer it.

  They are of the average age of 50(+ or- 5) which means they are all very close to their graves. So why can't they be honest and put the interest of the children ahead of theirs?
