I personally suffered in the early 70s...hunger... through t80s under Rawlings....even under Kufuor...yes...and then under Atta Mills... So, what is new? NOTHING! Was Busias time heavenly? No! There was great hardship, that was why he was overthrown! That is also why Mahama was removed...because we suffered Dumsor..i bought fuel to power a generator for my office at great cost to my profit margin, increased power and water tarifs..such that I owe ECG and GWCL...i owe taxes through my company..I owe PAYE, VAT...for 2015 and 2016...but, is that new? NO! It has never been heavenly in Ghana and Akufo Addo is not a magician either! But, the promises Nana Addo made must be fulfilled-taxes must come down, port duties must come down, free SHS, one village-one dam, one district-one factory, NHIS must work, Ghana must become a paradise. If he tells the President to fix the economy, then by his own admission, the previous government messed up the economy. He should therefore give the current government the space to clean up the mess. If the NDC aspires ever to come to power again, the party should fix it's leadership problem. There is clearly a dearth of top class leadership material in the party. The party needs a complete leadership overhaul by getting rid of the likes of Asiedu Nketia, Anyidoho, Kofi Adamu and other arrogant and conceited leaders, otherwise, the party will never be attractive to independent and discerning voters.
