Nothing will change in the Zongos after the 4 years. This is just a useless ministry like the ministry of modernization of the capital city under former president Kufour. Mahamma didn't create any of these dubious ministries and yet he transformed circle into Dubai.

I would like to correct a perception that the inhabitants of Zongos in our cities are predominately from Northern Ghana. The truth of the matter is 90% of the Zongolese are aliens and Moslem economic migrants from neighboring countries, mainly from Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso, Niger, Mali, Nigeria and few from the other West African countries. The lingua franca between them is a "broken Hausa" or "adulterated Hausa language", and Hausa is not a Ghanaian language. It is rather the language of Hausas in the north of Nigeria.

What Ghana needs now is another "Aliens Compliance Order" to kick them out for good. That is the only way we can develop a better and authentic ID system in our country. With the present system of appeasement, Zongo communities will always exist and expand in our cities, because the aliens will never stop coming and will never stop claiming the citizenship of our dear country fraudulently.

Imagine places like Chorkor and a whole lot of places within the Municipality of Accra and Tema inhabited by all tribes who struggles to even eat one ball of kenkey without fish. The worst affected KAYAYE who out of poverty threw their weightless weight behind you before becoming what you are today suddenly neglected. Such is the world. The vulnerability of these poor young girls and women are not even given priority after all what they did for you ? Equal rights and justice for all but not to the fulanis who are from elsewhere in Africa. After all, who are these so called Zongo dwellers ? Are most of them not foreigners from Mali, Niger and the drought stricken areas in West Africa ? Imagine a Fulani girl like Samira Bawumia dancing to beautiful highlife tunes at the state house when the indigenous women are suffering. All what you are doing is strategizing how to win the votes of the zongo dwellers after your four years term expires but mind you, the KAYAYE that you are neglecting are going to vote you out of power. NDC supporters should rather be worried about the success or otherwise of this ministry as it is a strategy to pull the rug under their feet and send the party into oblivion. The Zongos are predominantly NDC and this policy is meant to woo them over completely to NPP. And the creation of another region out of their world bank has the potential of the new region in the north of Volta flipping to NPP. If these two well crafted strategies of Nana succeed then NDC is finished forever. This is what the foolish Koku Anyidoho and Asiedu Nketia and the Portophys should worry about if they have any sense at all. Well done Nana for a well thought out strategy.

The govt had better do their research well. And it must apply to the poor ghettos in other areas too. Not just zongos.
Secondly there must be pilgrimage committee for Christians just like the hajj. I am tired of this imbalance with the northerners. Let's be fair. They have had free education, free this and that for so long, it's about time for them to better their communities and not rely too much on the government to do things for them and pander to them for votes. My village need a good road, water and farm inputs for the farmers to farm. Cresting an authority for settlers to have a say and dictate.
