What did Chrlotte do about the over votin she claimed to have detected on some pink sheets? She told the world that she could not certify the over 90 constituency results she had received because of the level of over voting! Within six hours of such inflamatory statement, this little girl was declearing the winner of the polls, without a word about the infractions she had picked up earlier! Does this not make the declaration null and void?
People should join forces to remove this impetuous girl before she brings irredeemable conflict into the country. She is taking credit for smooth elections, but nothing she did in her 18 months of chairmanship of the EC was right or proper! The nearly incident free polls was achieved solely through the collective determination of Ghanaians to have it that way!
Do people realise why, after nearly 48 hours since polls closed, she announced a turn out of 45% earlier in the day only to turn round within a couple of hours to declare that the figure was really 68%, a figure that tallied with what most of the independet media houses had declared since barely four hours after polls closed? It was to justify her stubborn refusal to accept that the voters register was bloated! At the time she made the gaffe, the media houses were showing Nana Addo as having accumulated around 4 million votes to Mahama's 3 million votes. So in her under-developed mathematical mind, 49% of the 15 million total number of registered voters would give the around 7 million votes cast!
She must go, no two ways about that!
