When I saw Prez. Obama and his wife vigrously campaigning for for Mrs Clinton, I immediately got the conviction that Donald Trump has won the US election. At a point, Obama had to resort to gutter politics by using derogatory words on Fox News but all these did not wash. The same fate will befall the Mahama administration since, it appears, they are also towing the same line. If you see presidential administrators and elderly statesmen like the Julius Debras and Kwamena Ahwois coming out of their shelves, instead of thinking and strategizing for the ruling government, then that should inform you that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo will be the next president of Ghana come Jan. 7,2017.

Why did you and your fanatics allow him to rule for the last 4years? You are borrowing from the playbook of Donald Trump who accued President Obama as not a US born citizen. These comments are just unfortunate and sad. The issue at stake is that President Mahama shielded Kuffour for the shoddy job done for the construction of Bui Dam. Yet, I haven't heard from anyone attacking the former President for the loss of such huge sum of money and the consequences of DUMSOR on the Ghanaian economy!!! Be real, Ghanaians wake up and vote for the president who listens and don't complain!!! Mahama is your answer!

Hear this Akpese-dancing dunce too calling itself Awuah Darko ! Need he be told that the original cost of the Bui Dam was $600 million ? And that the NDC inflated the project cost to $1billion claiming to have re-engineered it, with Asiedu-Nk3s33 being the sole supplier of blocks to the Bui project with his world most expensive blocks. So after inflating the cost of the project of over $400 million, the NDC stealers have still gut the guts to blame the NPP govt for its shortcomings ?

The Chairman of Interior and Defense Committee in Parliament, Fritz Baffour, has described as ridiculous claims that government has spent close to $300 million on the supply of National Security equipment without parliamentary approval.

The NPP at a press conference on Tuesday, alleged, among other things, that the Mahama-led government had signed a fraudulent deal worth about $300 million for the procurement of national security equipment.

The Deputy ranking member for Defence and Interior, Major Derek Oduro, affirmed the allegations against the government in an earlier interview with Citi News.

According to the party, government has already paid a UK-based firm, Santa Barron, $120 million dollars, for the supply of the equipment on 30th November without due diligence.

But speaking on Eyewitness News, Fritz Baffour said his committee had no such expenditure budget.

The Ablekuma South MP retorted to the allegations, “I don’t know where it is coming from because I am the chairman of the defense and Interior select Committee in parliament and various interventions like that will come to us one way or the other.”

“If it was a budgeted item and I looked at our budget, we don’t have anything like that, spending $300 million on arms,” he added.

Mr. Baffour further explained that such a deal “has to come before us [Defense Committee] for discussion so what I am saying to you is that it hasn’t come to my notice. It hasn’t come before my committee. I am telling you it is ridiculous that a certain amount is being spent unless it was part of the budget.”

If Bui Dam is producing about 1 million Megawatts a day then isn't the project more profitable by world standards. Another issue is that if the Bui Dam has a life span of, say, 50 years then imagine what 100mWx365x$1,000,000x50years will accrue to Ghana.
If Awuah Darko is a university graduate then, I think, university education in Ghana is very useless.

In politics, there is always a way to cajole supposedly indisciplined officials to harness the effort of all to achieve the greater good of the party. NDC is always setting the pace.
