Why is there no Toll Booth on the 140 Km Alsphatic Fufulso-Sawla Road? Is it because the road leads to Prez Mahama's hometown? Is this not contrary to the national road policy? Why is Prez Mahama permitting this treachery? The Accra-Kumasi road is about 200 Km yet has 3 Toll Booths. The Accra-Aflao Road is less than 200Km and also has 3 Toll Booths. What about the Accra-Aburi Road? The road is less than 50Km and yet has a Toll Booth. By using the National Road Standard for siting toll booths the Fufulso-Sawla road should have had at least 2 Toll Booths but nay, there is no single toll booth on that stretch of road 3years after its construction and Mahama is happy with that. This same Mahama will later turn around to say that there is no money to employ teachers and nurses and later go and borrow money at high interest rate to construct roads. Any West African country that will ban importation of food will starve the peoole,we cannot produce enough food to feed our people,it will make food very expensive and common food will become luxury as it is in Ghana now with banku/ tilapia now a luxury food though we import a large quantity of tilapia to supplement the local supply.
Already not everyone can afford to consume rice daily which the ban on importation will make worse.

The lawmaker never mentioned state-sponsored importation of rice in Nigeria but the sheer availability of imported rice on the Nigerian market. I can tell you that same is the situation in Ghana, perhaps across the most parts of Africa. Africa is essentially enriching the Thais, Chinese, Indians, etc. and subjecting our own people to abject poverty.

Considering that his country's population is about 10 times bigger than ours it clearly shows they are way ahead of us in rice production if his figures are correct. We currently import over $250m pa so what has he got between his ears to jump to this conclusion.
When it comes to education the Nigerians have been coming to Ghana in great numbers since k4's government but he thinks mahama should take the credit for whatever reason. How many universities have been built since this donkey became the president.
