Wakaso tastes victory with Panathinaikos

Black Stars midfielder Wakaso Mubarak flourished for Panathinaikos as the Greek side sealed a Europa League play-off after their 2-0 away win over Swedish side AIK.

Goals from 26-year-old Víctor Ibarbo and Swedish striker Marcus Berg gave Panathinaikos an away win and a 3-0 aggregate scoreline to push them into the next round of the competition.

Wakaso who enjoyed the entire 90 minutes of play on the pitch, assisted the second goal for the Super League side.

The 25-year-old Wakaso who signed to be with Panathinaikos until the summer of 2019, has already started enjoying life with enough playing time coupled with good victories at the Greek side.
