  Never must this country allow the tyranny of judges to replace the tyranny of military or any other dictatorship. The framers of our Constitution recognized that the judiciary could abuse their powers, and thus to avoid any judiciary tyranny, they counterbalanced it by clothing the president with article 72 in order to correct the excesses of the Justices. What we are now seeing is that, for political expediency and other narrow and shallow reasoning, people who should know better are rather treading th dangerous path of endorsing judicial excesses and tyranny by using subtle means, veiled threats and weird interpretation of the law to stop the president exercising his prerogative of mercy. We have seen judges commit very serious offenses by collecting gifts to free armed robbers and yet they were never sentenced for such serious crimes against the state. We have seen people declare war, call for the annihilation of whole ethnic groups, and yet these same judges set them free amidst jubilation and celebrations by the very people people who are today supporting this harsh and inhumane sentence of the Muntie 3. What an irony!!! A country of sycophantic hypocrites. We saw Kuffuor in 2008 invoking article 72 to free convicted drivers because NPP supporters petitioned him saying that it could affect their electoral fortunes. The noise-making clergy, lawyers, professors and political commentators never saw or heard that one. How biased and evil can we be!!! Mr President, please dawn these these noise-making hallucinating hypocrites and do as the constitution guarantees you to do if you so wish. Nothing will happen. If it is about the elections, they will not vote for you under any circumstance. It will not change anything. Please call their bluff.

  The law is an ass the saying goes. When it comes to objective standard about what is right and wrong, the law profession is completely useless. Put two or three lawyers and quote one single law and you will see how different interpretation they give it. So whatever the interpretation the judge agrees with becomes the law. Isn't this sad?
  
  Secondly having Anas judges sitting on the bench guess.what interpretation and judgement they give.

  Doc you fully support the release of the 3 "crazy" guys. You tried to punch the verdict and you failed, these guys have been praising you on their programmes and I listened myself. You people think only judges are to uphold the constitution and not crazy guys who sit behind microphones and speak to the masses everyday. If judges are corrupt and not qualified to sit at the beach then what about corrupt ministers and politicians governing us ?

  Prerogative of the President both acting and not acting. The president exercise his prerogative by not signing the death sentence of a person on deah roll, which is the president not acting which is his right. The president exercise his prerogative by granting amnesty to the same person on death roll, which is by acting, which is his right all granted by the 1992 Constitution.
