What is 7 per cent profit bring to the national coffers? But for the coming to power of NDC that 'kululu' contract agreement wouldn't have gone up to the 10 per cent. To worsen matters the price of crude oil is now $38 from over $130+ NPP will never bring anything better. Did Dr. Nkrumah not use state resources to build schools and industries? Yet (UP) NPP sympathizers demonized his rule. But after over 50 years we now know he loved our dear nation. He was a selfless leader unlike his opportunistic opponents who wanted to corner our common wealth. We have seen their evil politics."

Seriously Ghana is a chaotic country with whole unprofessional journalist writing lies lies to please a certian groups of political parties. Where on earth will a journalist call for the heads of judges beacause they feel agitated for judges not toing their line??? These are judges fighting a course that will bring peace for the whole country , so why would you as a journalist call for their heads?
And it has happened in this country before, when judges were brutally murdered during JJ's revolution era. It's about time to crack the whip on those unprofessional journalists.

Now, much as I hate the Montie three amigo's verbalization over the Apex bench, I will equally not condone the selective justice meted to these three to justify the treasonable statement they perpetrated on the airwaves that day.
Well, my argument is, weren't we here in this same country when the likes of Kennedy Agyepong did likewise on a radio station of his? How could this same Apex court of the land be dismissive of others who passionately call for the killing of a specific group of people and then chose to go hard on other who do same on another day? Talk about hypocrisy at the highest chamber and this ruling right here describe it religiously.

I was among the first if not the first at least at Ghanaweb to call on the president to use the powers vested in him and be bold to get these guys out of that prison,ASAP and I agree with this guys that though these guys made outrageous comments,as a party and government we have not done enough to help these guys,we have almost abandoned them to cry their own cry. The Supreme Court of Ghana has lowered itself to the lowest level not comparable to any Supreme Court in the world,a Supreme Court all over the world are not criminal courts, criminal cases are handled by the lower courts, people go to supreme courts when they feel their cases are not handled well to their satisfaction by the lower courts, last resort, but Ghana's Supreme Court has turned itself to a policeman,a lawyer and a prosecutor, which never happened anywhere in the world.
All of us were happy when during election petition hearing that court started jailing and imposing fines on people,we failed to let them know they were over stepping their boundaries not referring such cases to the lower courts bullying people who criticized their work.
Today we can all see how that court continue to abuse the power vested in it.
How on earth can any court with people of right thinking minds impose such a fine on people and radio stations asking them to pay within 24 hours, asking radio station to bring their rules and policies to them for what, approval, are they not aware company policies are largely confidential to company and its employees, where did that happen before?
Mr president,do the right thing, get them out of prison,ASAP.

I am of the strongest belief that this is great for democracy. Now I ask also that others like Nana Addo, Ken Adjepong, Osafo Marfo and others from the NPP who through their actions both on radio and in private should face similar convictions for inciting violence. If this judge was not NPP this would never have come about. I wait for this precedence to be entrenched in our democracy. The commentators were wrong but so was Kojo Yankson who called our president a thief and even he still has his job. It is now clear to NPP that the courts are a law unto themselves and that they lost the 2012 elections clearly. We hope they will accept 2016 defeat with less fight. NPP IDIOTS

“Nana Addo proved his worth even more after the 2012 general elections by opting for the courts, when he could use other options. We know most conflicts in Africa to be electoral related. But he spared us that ordeal. In fact in some countries the reasons for the conflicts are not as cogent as was presented in our Supreme Court by Nana and his party. But in the wisdom of our jurisprudence, the ruling went against him and that ended the matter. Nana, a lawyer and of good standing, understands this game very well. He equally believes in the rule of law. All this we have taken for granted as a nation. For Nana to be nominated three times consecutively to lead a big party like the NPP cannot be sheer luck on his part. For the voice of the people is said to be the voice of God. He therefore deserves our attention in the upcoming elections. And for this noble act by a noble man like Nana Addo, Ghanaians must see in him our best chances of going forward than in John Mahama, I am for Nana anyway.”
