Neither France nor Portugal was the best team in the tournament. Portugal was lucky to have survived the group stage. France was extremely lucky to have beaten Germany in the semis. They did not play better than Germany.
A business which takes Portugal as a lesson is just playing lotto. And it's not easy to win on the lotto...

I was expecting to read some strategic management fulcrum from an MBA (perhaps a Ghanaian MBA), only to be met with a deficient narrative not worth the paper it is written on.
I was hoping to read about Portugal's team organization on the field (the team's management philosophy); the strategic formation on the field (4-2-4 and later 3-4-3 and how it affected the game); the distribution and control of the ball on the field (managing the team's players (manpower) without CRonaldo to win the game.
This is the calibre of analysis I had expected from a person who holds an MBA. When we give business cases to MBA students, we expect them to be diligent and apply cognitive perspective to issues raised. This is too shallow disposition to merit the work of an MBA.

So why don't you do that yourself since you know better. May be criticizing others is your expertise. I hate people who will not lift a finger to help or inspire others but will only criticize.

But Kwabena's criticism is right. He has pointed out the areas the writer should've touched to make a meaningful analysis as a holder of MBA. If Kwabena were writing on the topic, those are the areas he would emphasize. But Kwabena has not decided to write an article on the topic. That doesn't mean he cannot critique someone who has decided to write an article on it. Kwabena does not need to write an article on the topic before he can criticize others. All Kwabena has to do is to make sure that his criticism is concrete, valid and relevant.

The only thing I will say here is, the author deserves every criticism for choosing to display catalogue of high academic titles only to fail to do justice to the topic. With all the academic titles, he lacks attention to detail,----he spelled 'integrit as "intergrity". An MBA holder should be able to proofread his work thoroughly before submitting.
The display of academic titles was needless!
