Osei Boakye, you are the most outstanding stooge of all time, who has also been confined to the same state of communication illiteracy, if you care to know, communication is a two -way traffic between the sender and the receiver. What is sent is the encoding of the message which could be channeled through what is called communication transmission modes, which are oral, written or gestural. At this stage, the receiver accesses the message which is called decoding of the message and finally feedback is given. Bear in mind that, the term Communication is derived from Latin word 'Communis' which means common. So the person, whom a given communication affects should be able to establish a common ground of understanding which is the fundamental principle. lf the receiver cannot decode the encoder for a probable feedback, then l am sorry, it is a useless communication. ln summary, Communication is the sum of all the things one does, when he wants to create understanding on the minds of others. lt is a bridge of meaning which involves systematic and continuous process of telling, listening and understanding, it is also a process of disseminating information and understanding from one person to the other.lt also involves imparting ideas and making oneself understood by others. Thus in all what Francis Kwarteng had posted here, where lies the basic principles and tenets of communication? Do you Osei Boakye think that, stringing together all the few vocabularies one has in his or her vocabulary kit thinking that, he or she is constructing sentences which cannot be understood by people is what makes a good communication? Who are FK's target patrons or readers?

The sender of the message - here - the encoder, has the right to express his or her thoughts with words he or she chooses, with the decoders using context clues to figure the meanings of the unknown words. The communications don't have to be perpetually at standstill, dear kwame.

The writer in my opinion, could have presented his opinion in plain, simple language. No doubt, the writer has good vocabulary, but could have done better in this writeup to convey his opinion simple and clearly.

I've read ten paragraphs n find it difficult continuing. The author should endeavor to use much fewer but easy to understand jargons. Even an academic articles demand the use of simple vocabularies one wants wide readership!
