  President Mahama has certainly proven to be the least serious Head of State we have had since the birth of Ghana on March 6, 1957. Not even those who came to power with O and A Level certificates like Kotoka, Afrifa, Kutu Acheampon and Rawlings, and ruled the country relying state appointees with similar low level educational backgrounds brought the kind of shame that Mr Mahama (a university graduate) has brought on Ghanaians. And like a Dead Goat, he is not sensitive to our feelings and goes ahead to make a joke of what has brought us shame, calling it the Printer’s Devil.

  Mahama obviously thought the job of president was a walk in the park, and that is why he did all it took to rise to that position. No doubt he is a good talker when he wants to be, but he doesn't have the acumen and seriousness required for the job. He is overwhelmed so he's gone back to what makes him a likeable person - his playful nature. All the heads of state that you mention were serious minded even if deficient in education.

Only fools worship humans, be they ministers , MCEs, Mayors or Presidents. These were men who solicited your votes to be allowed to work for the good of the nation. When they get into office by sleight of hand, usually, through the help of rented heads, they tend to behave as though we owe them the world. A few more Casely Hayfords will be really good for Ghana.
