Isn't it good that appointments are made on merit? I think President Mahama's government has the largest number of Northerners in our democratic history.Its about time we stopped this silly nonsense and get real. Who is Bawumia in the first place? Can this writer swear that there is no single son of that area in government until recent reshuffle? Please my brother northerners, dont allow these greedy and selfish primitive Asante /Akyems knock your heads together. They are not your saviours. They don't like you for nothing. Dr Bawumia himself as part of ndc young technocrats policy was given scholarships for his Phd programme after which he was send to bank of Ghana as part of the policy. It was Kofour who poached him and made him redandant in Npp otherwise Bawumia would have been the gorvenor of BOG.

By the way how many Mamprusis do you know to be able to determine how many of them have benefited from GETFUND scholarships. It is tribal bigots like your type, Yaw Osafo Marfo and Nana Addo whose conduct and pronouncements force some of us who suffered so much under all gov'ts to still come in our thousands to vote. And when come out in our numbers to protest by way of voting, our votes don't favour tribal bigotry. The earlier you understand this the better. You are full of praise for the NPP gov't and promising them Mamprusi votes because they appointed Mamprusis, tell why Frafras, Dagaabas, Wallas, Kusasis, Bimobas, Gonjas, Sisalas, etc. should join you vote NPP to come to power when they were underrepresented or not represented at all, in most cases, in the NPP gov't?
